Disclaimer: I don't own Little Einsteins. I'm just a fan of the show. End of story.
It was a Saturday afternoon and was raining outside. Leo and Annie Perrington were looking out the windows in the living room, watching the rain. Quincy Baxter and June Ming were doing the same thing in their homes as well. They were thinking about the war that was going on in Iraq…about their fathers fighting in that war… their fathers whom they loved more than music… Their muscles were tense, and had grim looks on their faces, and their eyes never leaving the rain. They barely moved from their spots. It was hard for them to think about the war, they were very young still and besides, they loved their fathers. So they kept on watching the rain… hoping it would never stop… hoping that their fathers would come home. If you saw them and touch their shoulders, you would feel the pain in their hearts for them. They looked like statues…looking out the windows at the rain. Their mothers were on the way to the kitchen when they noticed their children watching the rain. They knew what their kids were thinking about, and they didn't stop them from thinking about it either. They knew that their kids would someday come to understand it better when they grew older, and continued on to the kitchen.
So as the rain kept pouring the kids kept watching the rain…trying to keep hope that their fathers would soon return…
