Ed stared into the dark openness. He looked around. Sweet pictures of him and Winry.

Edward sighed away salty tears. She was gone. He was stupid. Why couldn't he had admitted it then?

Edward turned up the bottle of wine to his mouth again. He was never going to get over this. Winry had been his lover, his wife, his devoted, his friend. She was the one that helped him after Al died.

Al. He should have never tried to bring Al back. But if he didn't try, he and Winry would never had been together that night and he would have never learned his love for her. It didn't matter now, she was gone.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Why did he ever say those things?

Why did he not say anything when she was disappearing from his sight?

He was fed up. Fed up with all the hurt and pain.

"It's time to admit I was wrong."

Edward grabbed the phone from the hook. It rang several times before someone answered.

"Hello?"

"Winry..."

A/N: This little drabble was inspired by the song, Tonight I Wanna Cry, by Keith Urban. It's completely independent from Lightning and Metal. I lost half of that story due to computer shut down, I'm sorry if that one goes slow, I have to rewrite half of it.
