Heart to heart

Authors note: Yay! I'm back. This story is a little different from the light fluff everybody is used to; it's a little more emotional. This is set 4 months after Piper died and adult Chris stayed in the future. Anyway… Here's the story.
It was a hot and sunny summer day that fell across San Francisco. Most people were basking in the beauty and Air Con. and ice tea; however one lone soul sat outside. Leo Wyatt sat awaiting a guest.
In a stream of blue orbs, Christopher Wyatt Halliwell appeared behind his father.
"Dad?"
"Yeah?"
"Could I talk to you for a moment?" Chris asked.
"Sure."
Leo stood and followed Chris inside the manor where Phoebe, Cole, Paige and their children sat creating an absolute mess, paint everywhere. Leo stood and looked at Phoebe and Cole together. He remembered all the times he spent with Piper before she… she…. He couldn't even finish the thought. She had died.
Leo sighed and followed after Chris. Chris walked into his bedroom and sat waiting for Leo.
"Come on, I want to talk to you." Chris said
Leo sat down beside him and Chris took his hand and orbed him to the beach where Piper went with him, together.
"Why are we here Chris?" Leo said, desperately trying to hold back the tears forming.
"Because, if you want to move on, you need to focus on the better times." Chris said
"Like what?" Leo yelled
"When you met mum, when you proposed to her, when you married her!" Chris yelled
Standing invisible and unnoticed Piper watched the two people she missed the most in her life, her husband and her son. She was always watching over them, she always would be.
Leo sat down at a nearby bench and started to cry.
"I miss her every minute she isn't here. It's an empty void in my heart, a void only she can fill. I just wish I was able to say goodbye." Leo said.
"Dad, you know she always loved you, I know she always will." Chris said
"Dad, what did you first fall in love with?"
Piper edged forward, interested as to where the conversation was heading.
Leo looked up and smiled for the first time in months.
"Her heart and her smile." Leo replied
"Really?" Chris said
"She had the most beautiful smile. It was a smile that made everything seem better. She had a natural grace, beauty that came from the inside." Leo smiled
As Piper looked on a lone tear made its way down her cheek. She reached out as if to touch Leo, but pulled back at the last second.
"She always called me an angel, her angel. That's all I ever wanted to be, her angel."
"See, under all the tears and struggles there was undying love, eternal love." Chris whispered.
"Your mum was the best thing that ever happened to me. She gave me something to live for. She gave me a family, a purpose, for that I will always love her."
Piper walked forward until she was standing in front of Leo.
"I love you." She whispered
Leo looked up at the velvet sky and whispered: "I love you Piper."
Leo turned to Chris.
"Thank you; you inherited your mum's talent for helping people see the light, even in the darkest moments."
With that Leo orbed out. Chris turned towards Piper.
"Love you mum."
"Thanks Chris, love you too, tell Phoebe and Paige that I love them."
"Will do." Said Chris before he orbed out.
Piper stood, staring at the place her husband and son had been moments before, and then she closed her eyes and disappeared in a sparkle of light.
