Ron was sitting in the Gryfindoor common room with Harry and Hermione working on a potions paper for Snape.
"Ron you've got to get working and stop staring into utter nothingness" said Hermione.
"Huh" said Ron snapping out of his daze.
"I said that professor Snape probably won't accept an essay entitled 'The,'" said Hermione.
Ron shot her a quick sharp-eyed glance and returned to the fire. Harry was thinking that this love\hate relationship between Ron and Hermione was getting old, so he finally decided to do something about it.
"Whoa, look at the time, I told Neville I'd meet him in the dormitory now, I'll see you guys later" he said.
"So long Harry" said Hermione
"Ungg" said Ron, still engaged in his staring contest with the fire. Harry rolled his eyes and left.
As soon as the door shut behind Harry, Ron and Hermione made sure that he was truly gone and then kissed passionately as Ron said
"I thought he'd never leave"
Hermione giggled and muttered a quick charm to lock the door in which Harry had left.
They continued on their essays entitled 'The Magical Properties Of Cinnamon' and 'The'. After a while, Ron finally said
"Do you remember when we first met?"
"Who could forget it." said Hermione
"If I can remember correctly, you weren't to fond of me," said Ron, a slight grin across his face.
They both looked at each other for a while until Ron leaned foreword and began to kiss Hermione. Hermione pulled Ron close as if to say 'I'll never let you go'. Ron's hands caressed down Hermiones body until he stopped at her hips. Ron lightly pushed Hermione onto the couch and lay upon her to continue their kiss. Hermione methodically rubbed Ron's back. She finally rested her hands on his buttocks. Ron started kissing down the front of her neck as Hermione whispered
"I love you Ronald Weasly".
Reality faded from the lover's minds.
"And I love you Hermione Granger" whispered Ron.
They drifted off into a silent, passionate love and a voice, ever so quietly came through a crack in the floorboards above Ron and Hermione.
"And that's how it should be" whispered Harry.
