Author's Notes: I've always been intrigued by Angel Sanctuary so I've decided to write a fic for this lovely fandom. In the past I've only drawn fanscribbles. Please, if you know a better place to post this, tell me.
Anti-Savior
by Rose Eva (Crucially)

Setsuna, when he first became the savior, didn't believe he really was the savior. He laughed it off, and made jokes. Kira would ask him what was so funny sometimes when he was laughing, when he would be watching Sara, and he would say, "Nothing, man," and smile. Setsuna wasn't really the savior, he was just a teenager with enough problems of his own as it was.
1.
Kurai and Arachne tried to kill Setsuna once or twice, and Setsuna deflected it each time. Arachne was strange and a tranny, but Setsuna later would become friends with her, and Kurai really liked Setsuna, or liked the idea of Setsuna, liking Alexiel, the angel inside Setsuna's body.
Setsuna still didn't want to believe he was the savior but was forced to when he saved Sara from the abandoned factory, and he tried slitting his wrists but he couldn't because he was stopped.
Setsuna still can't sleep sometimes because he doesn't know what to think: he's the savior, things should work for him, but nothing ever does.
2.
Setsuna and Sara ran away together and his mom got so pissed off; he laughed about it then, but now he hates himself. Sara's dead.
She's dead, dead, dead. And even though he's the savior he can't do anything about it.
Setsuna killed someone, one of Kira's friends, Kato, and Kira's in trouble because of him.
Sometimes Setsuna wonders why someone as fucked up as him could be a savior.
3.
Setsuna had Kira kill him so he could go and save Sara, but he doesn't think it will work. Nothing really ever works.
Kurai was crying before he died, and Kira was crying, too.
Setsuna wondered if he's going to make it in time, but doesn't care because he wants Sara, not Kurai, or Kira, or his mom or his dad. He doesn't want to be a savior anymore.
He just wants to do something right.
4.
Kato told Setsuna that he forgave him for killing him.
Setsuna didn't really know what to say, because he didn't really remember killing him. But he said "Thanks" and "I'm sorry" and let Kato do whatever he wanted because he felt bad that he ended his life, that he killed.
Setsuna didn't understand how being a savior meant killing innocent people.
5.
Setsuna once looked up the word savior in the dictionary and it said: one who saves or delivers from danger or destruction.
Every night he goes outside and asks for a savior, to deliver him from all his trouble, from all his pain.
THE END
