THE ROSEGARDENS

Even before he entered the room he could hear Miharu sing along with her new favourite song she had found at one of these omnious stores she loved to rummage for anything she could find as long as it was from Europe. Crazy habit.

"But variation / and hesitation wasn´t my way / and reclamation / I did know that we were right"

He stayed behind the corner and listened somewhat smiling as he already knew the chorus almost by heart.

"I will ever live again / will taste your lovely tears / wanna lay down by your side / within rosegardens"

He loved her voice although the old radio player she used to play back this piece of music sometimes started screaking for no good reason. He had offered to buy her a new one but she had refused saying that it was a present from her father and she would use it until it fell apart. Amen, he had an idea that it wouldn't be long anymore until she would allow him to buy a new one. He didn't know if he liked the song better with the original girl singing the lyrics or if Miharu did the vocals but he though that Mi made the song having a different meaning. Somewhat – deeper – he couldn't find another word to describe it. She was singing simply amazing when she though that noone listened.

"Takin´ you tonight / is keeping me so bright / meltin´ up and down so slowly / like a dizzy / holy light / and all my praying / and all my swayin´ round is my way / and finding you down / I'll be with you / all around"

He could feel a shiver running down his spine. Hell, those lyrics were not THAT touching so why did he get such a strange feeling?

The song was slowly coming to its end and he decided to step into the room just to see her head snapping around, her voice cut off immediately. "How long have you been there?" she asked with embarrassement in her voice.

"A minute maybe." he said, smiling. "Move on, you ruin the song."

She bit her lip but then turned around again and sang on.

"There I kiss u slowly tight / and move my body right / we're staying day and night / within rosegardens"

He couldn't help but embrace her, fold his arms around her precious collarbones and kiss her neck. "Sing on." he whispered into her ear. She took a deep breath having goosebumps on her neck.

"I will ever live again / will taste your lovely tears / wanna lay down by your side / within rosegardens / there I kiss u slowly tight / and move my body right / we're staying day and night / within rosegardens"

The song had come to its end, some instrumental finish faded out when she said: "How about a walk to the park?"

He smiled and kissed her again. "How about the rosegardens?"
