Sora Has Computer Problems

"Riku, Riku!"

Riku sighed in an irritated sort of way and glance up from his picnic lunch to see Sora running towards him. He just couldn't get a break, could be?

"Riku, Riku!"

Riku looked longingly at his picnic. It wasn't often he had a hearty lunch, much less good food. Yesterday he had spent a good hour or so preparing it, using all his self-control to not eat it right then. The reason he had made it in the first place was in celebration of a Sora-free day, because Sora had said he had a project to do.

"Riku, Riku!"

This was the point of no return. He could either help Sora with whatever petty problem he had now. Or, he could stay and eat his beloved picnic lunch. Which would he choose? The light or the dark? Riku grimaced. He would choose the twilight.

"Riku, Riku!"

Sora slid to a stop, coming dangerously close to Riku's precious lunch. "What is it?" Riku asked, eyelid twitching slightly, pushing his beloved lunch back into the basket. "I thought you had a project to do."

Sora caught his breath a moment before answering. "I do, but my computer has a virus or something! All my files are being destroyed! I need your help." He gave a Riku a look that was clearly supposed to be a puppy-eye begging look, but fell somewhat short.

"…" Riku released his trademark quote. "Sora…since when have I had ANY computer knowledge? And since when did you even have a computer?"

Sora shrugged. "I bought it yesterday, because I didn't want to have to handwrite my project."

"…" Riku's eyelid gave that involuntary twitch again. He slowly rubbed his eyes and relayed the information back to Sora. "So…you bought computer just so you didn't have to handwrite a project, but before you've had it for even a day it has a deadly virus, and to fix it, you ask me, who has barely touched a computer, to help you?"

Sora nodded. "Yep. That's it. So will you help?"

Twitch twitch. Sora was oblivious, and no stupid castle could be blamed for that. And he had such questionable logic. Riku stood and picked up his basket. "Fine. I'll help you."

Sora pumped the air as if he had won some sort of contest. "C'mon, I'll take you to my house."

Together, they walked. Riku managed to eat a good portion of his lunch. But it was the comfortable environment he had envisioned so beautifully last night. In his lunch-time fantasy last night, he didn't have a chattering Sora next to him, he wasn't standing up (much less moving), and his precious lunch was being stolen by Sora.

"Here's my house!" Sora announced through as mouthful of Riku's apple. He led Riku upstairs, into his room, where sure enough there sat a white computer. The screen was black. "Fix it," he demanded, falling into a beanbag chair.

Riku decided to ignore Sora's rudeness." Sitting at the desk, he pressed the POWER button. Within moments, Sora's desktop was on the screen. "It looks fine…"

"No, just wait! It's weird! Go to 'My Documents'!"

Riku sighed and dragged the cursor across the screen. He clicked the 'My Documents' icon. At first nothing happened. Then the screen blacked.

Only to be replaced a few moments later by a certain researcher of darkness.

Ansem's pixel self stood, mouth opening and closing, as files flew like moths to a light into his chomping mouth. Sora had the sound on, so they could hear his cries of "LET THE DARKNESS CONSUME YOUR FILES!"

"See?" Sora said, quite unnecessarily though. "It has a virus."

Riku's eyes twitched. "Sora, that's not what you should be worried about."
