How Brokeback Got Them Good II
By Spidersting
The second night on Brokeback
It turned to more than lust
Ennis returned to his Jack
The Jack he'd come to trust
Staring into deep blue eyes
Turned all his fears to dust
Although their passions came to rise
Jack had only scratched the crust
Of the man behind the guise
That was Ennis—strong, robust
At this moment of their meeting
There was not much to be heard
They divulged their inner pleading
At the murmur of a word
Jack, he whispered, "'S a'right."
Several times and nothing more
To allay his lover's fright
As he hadn't done before
And their mouths, they came together
For the first time with affection
And the lightness of a feather
They had forged a strong connection
Their love, it took to wings
In their hearts and souls unfurled
Beyond the boundaries of things
Which adhere us to this world
This night, it did soon end
But never-ending was the feeling
Of the bond they were to tend
With true love forever sealing
