Title: Payment

Rating: M

Pairing: Archer/Ed

Warnings/Tags: Non-con (not graphic), Yaoi, Minor, rather dark... I suppose it's AU, because the boys are still looking for the Philosopher's stone, and Roy died shortly after Ed met Wrath.

Disclaimer: I do not own Full Metal Alchemist or any of its characters. That belongs to Hiromu Arakawa. Please, don't sue me.

Summary: After Roy's death, Ed goes to a different source for leads on the Philosopher's Stone.

A/N: This is a one-shot. It contains non-consensual sex between an adult and a minor. If you are underage, please leave. You have been warned. Also, I do not condone this behavior in any way. I appreciate constructive criticism, but please, no flames. Don't hesitate to tell me how I can improve.I think both Ed and Archer are a bit OOC, but I tried to keep them in character. This is, after all, my first attempt at a fanfic. Please read and review to tell me your thoughts.

All in all, he decided, it isn't so bad.

It's not like this will go on forever, because he'll get bored sooner or later, get tired of me and want something different. Sooner or later, my side of the exchange will be fulfilled. It's not like he's causing any real damage, because if he was I wouldn't, couldn't go through with this, I would tell him to stop, please stop, to get away and leave me alone, I don't want this. No, there is nothing I can't take for Al, nothing I can't take to give him back what he lost.

He tried to block out the groans behind him, instead focusing on the washed out walls of the Lieutenant Colonel's office, the air thick with the stench of sweat and sex.

Because it could be worse, I could lose it all, lose what little we've gained, lose Pinako, Winry. Al. I could be lying in an alley somewhere, dead and cold and DEAD with no feeling, knowing that I had it coming, that my sins had finally caught up with me and I could no longer run from them because I was dead and it would stay that way. What is death, really? Is it better than this?

He was pushed rhythmically into the desk beneath him, the pale hands on his hips gripping him tighter. He bit his lip, willing himself not to cry out from the pain. He refused to give the man that satisfaction. His knees ached from supporting him and his skin crawled.

You had it coming, hissed the little voice in the back of his mind, filled with malice. This is the payment for all the wrongs you've committed, all the pain you've brought to those around you, you

(FAILED)

Brought this on yourself, because you are a sinner who deserves everything he gets and you will take it without a complaint.

The man above him leaned forward to nip harshly at the back of his neck, causing pain to gather there. He grinned against Ed's skin, a cruel smirk of victory, all the while muttering Your fault, you little whore, you are nothing but the military's dog, a pet for them to do with whatever they please.

Ed tried in vain to block out the words, but they reached his ears anyway. He wanted so badly to protest, or better yet, throw a punch at the man, but if he did, there was no way he'd be going anywhere fast. His leads and updates on the stone would vanish, and he would be left in the dark once again.

It isn't so bad, Ed thought, because sooner or later, I'll get my part of the exchange, and then I will return my brother to his body, and then everything will be over and I'll be okay, right? Right?
