Forever Mine

As the casket began to make it's decent down into the cold earth, a raven haired boy stood by and watched it's decent. His two best friends were standing by his side trying to comfort the boy on his loss.

"Come on Harry, its time to go." Hermione calmly stated trying not to break down.

"I'll be there in a minute," Harry emotionlessly replied.

His two best friends glanced at one another and nodded.

"Ok mate, take all the time you need, but remember we'll be waiting for you." Ron stated

"Ok."

It was a cold, windy October day,
when you died and left my world so gray.
I can still remember your last screams
and the glistening tears falling from your eyes.
I told you not to be the hero,
but you never thought it was your end you would meet.
We saw the green flash, but it was too late,
I shut my eyes to block out your fate.
I heard a thud, but never your scream,
and I prayed to God it was only a dream.
A few days later, you were put in the ground,
and I became quiet, never making a sound.
Sometimes I can't believe you're really gone,
you always swore you'd never leave me alone.
When I see all them other guys with their guys,
I feel the warm tears slide from my eyes.
If you were here, I know what I'd do,
I'd stay by your side and always be true.
I wish I could have you 'til the end of time,
but even though you're gone, you'll be forever mine.

Harry stood there and felt warmth spread through his body; some how Harry knew that Draco was standing right behind him, with his arms wrapped around his body.

"I'll kill him for you Draco, and then after that we can be together once again." Harry said. "I love you."

And right behind him, Harry somehow knew when the warm breath blew across his ear that he heard "I love you to, my love because you'll be forever mine."
