Disclaimer: Unfortunatly, I don't own any of the HP characters. I wish I did though. (don't we all?)

"Albus," Nodded McGonnagal. "Good afternoon."

"Ah. Minerva, just the person I was hoping to meet.

Minerva blushed. She'd had a secret crush on him for as long as she could remember. She always hoped he would just pull her close and kiss her.

"What did you need?" She asked.

Dumbledore blushed. He always had a secret crush on her, and now he was going to try to ask her out. Be strong, Albus. You can do this.

"Well… I was… that is I was… I was wondering if you would like to go out some time. With me, of course, to Hogsmeade." Said Dumbledore. He sighed, glad that it was over.

Oh, my goodness! Did he just ask you out?

" Of course!" She practically jumped up and down.

Dumbledore looked relived. "Good! Well, how's next Hogsmeade? Pick you up around 12:00 noon?"

"Fine!" Replied McGonnagal, her insides on fire. "Can't wait!"

"Me either, Minerva. Bye!"

With that they both went their separate ways, both thinking about what they should wear.

HOGSMEADE TRIP

"Minerva, you look stunning." Complimeted Dumbledore.

"Why thank you, Albus, you look amazing yourself!"

He grinned like a first year kid. Keep cool, Albus.

"So, shall we get going, then?" He asked.

"Of course." She replied.

"I was thinking of going to the Hogs Head, not as many people there, and you know…"

She smiled. "I would love to." He grinned in his first year way and took her arm. With that, they started walking to the Heads Hog.

McGonnagal: Not as many people there, and you know… Did he mean what I thought he meant?

Dumbledore: Not as many people there, and you know… Did I make it to obvious?

The pair arrived at the Hogs Head, where, thankfully, no one was around except the barman. They took a seat.

"What would you like, Minerva?"

"A butterbeer sounds good."

Dumbledore walked up to the front counter and ordered two butterbeers. While he was ordering, McGonnagal wondered whether or not they would kiss. Dumbledore returned to the table. She whispered a word of thanks and took a small sip. They talked for a while and there was never a weird moment. (Well, except for the part where Dumbledore spilled his butterbeer down the front of his robes, but that was more funny than weird.)

Dumbledore looked deep into her eyes, and she did the same. Then they both leaned in close and shared a kiss. They were still kissing when Ron, Harry and Hermione walked in. They both quickly pulled away, hoping that the kids were to preoccupied to notice, but it was to late.

We'll just leave you to alone, now." Said Harry. The other two nodded.
