My wonderful Beta: little wolf blossom.
Hope you love it
They say true love never lasts.
But they don't know Gaara.
His love lasts forever.
It was their reception, and the fighting had already started. "Gaara! Calm down!" To everyone's surprise she was yelling, very uncharacteristic of her. Her pale, small arms were latched onto her husband in a pleading manner, her white eyes wide with fear for the man her husband held in his sand's death grip.
He closed his eyes and suddenly the man was on the ground, crawling for dear life before the ANBU arrived. His sand neatly piled itself back into his gourd. He coughed slightly, telling everyone that it would be fine, and soon the party had started with the bride and groom sitting together. Just watching.
"Oh, well I guess the party is ending. Where will the two love birds be spending their honeymoon?" Naruto, their blond-haired friend and her secret crush, she blushed as he talked to them. "It hasn't been decided yet." Gaara replied, openly glaring at the Container. Naruto shrugged and left the building right after waving good-bye to the others.
After the building cleared the Bride and Groom stood up and headed for the door too, in silence. "That was," She paused, thinking of the words as they walked together, hand in hand, for the KazeKage palace, "An interesting feast." Yes, they were in Sunagakure.
"You love him. Don't you?" Her husband silenced her with his five words. She stopped. He just pushed her, making her continue walking as they headed for his chambers. "I used to-" "You still do." He cut her off, angry, confused, both of them walked with stillness surrounding them.
"Listen Gaara," They had arrived and now stood, just facing each other as she broke the silence with her persistence. "I don't want to hear it." He walked over to the small couch that sat in front of the large bed -sure, he never slept, but now that he was married his wife would.
"You need to. I was asked to marry you. By you. I may love him, but you are most important in my life as of the moment I said "I do". If I wanted him do you think I would here now? Away from my home." She had moved next to him, though he never looked at her she knew he was listening by the way he didn't move. "And away from my friends. I wouldn't do that for anyone but you."
"Why did you say yes anyways?" He asked, still not looking into her eyes, his voice held a hint of mischief that only could be heard if he wanted you too. He wanted her too hear. "Why did you ask?" She smiled as he turned his head, ready to respond.
"I asked because you were beautiful. Every time I came to Konoha I looked for you. Every time I never saw you I went mad. You plagued my thoughts and my senses went wild. All for you."
"And I said yes because I knew you needed someone. I needed someone. I knew we could share a life full of love, or at least stand each other to a certain degree. I knew that Naruto would never love me. And you were cute." She giggled and he rolled his eyes playfully.
Suddenly his lips found hers and she complied thankfully. They loved the touch of the other. His hand caressed her face and her hands found his hair, running them though his red locks, shaking some sand out of them.
They found the bed, taking their time to get there, every time he touched her she would giggle till he just gave up and kissed her until they reached the bed.
Oh, what a wonderful night they had. Full of passion, lust, and a love they never thought they could share. The monster, Gaara of Sand. The quiet, weak, Hyuuga Hinata- well, Mrs. Subaku no Hinata. Every time she heard that name she would stifle a laugh. It just sounded so hilarious, but every time he called her name all she could was blush. She remembered their first night together easily. As did he.
