"Happy Valentine's day Querida," Jesse whispered softly in my ear in his gentlemen voice. It was then accompanied with a box of golden and luxurious Ferro Roche chocolate and a bouquet of blood red Roses; 12 of them to be exact.

Jesse kissed me gently on the lips and a shiver of pleasure went down my spine.

I woke up. What a great dream, too bad it's as realistic as people traveling to space and finding an alien on the moon. I sighed and got off my bed. The digital clock on my bedside table glinted 10:30am. Damn, I was going to be late for a date with Jesse.

I quickly got dressed but it still took me half an hours. Hey, you try looking your best on Valentine's Day in half an hour. I had a tight black – T on with short denim skirt. Jesse would never approve of it, but he's going to have to get over it. He always does.

Just as I was applying the final touch to my look, my phone rang (my mum finally decided I was responsible enough to get one)

"Hello?" I answered it, feeling irritated.

"Querida?" the voice replied, god. It was Jesse.

"Oh, hi Jesse," I said in my most flirtatious voice. "What's up?"

"I'm afraid I can't make it at 11:30, sudden emergency came up at the hospital," Jesse said in an apologetic tone and I was upset, he wasn't going to be able to come and see me on V-Day. So much for dreams comes true.

I went down the stairs and found none of the family member by breakfast table or living room. Oh, damn, forgot all of them would be out. Mum and Andy decided to go out for the weekend living in hotels (Eww… don't even want to imagine what they'll be doing… wait… too late) While Dopey, Sleepy and even Doc will be spending the day out with their girlfriends.

Am I destined to be lonely?

About noon-ish, the delivery man came and gave me a beautiful bouquet of roses after the signing the forum. The red was elegantly in a golden wrapper that shone brightly under the sun. It only consisted of 11 roses though.

The card that came with it read: To my valentine, querida Te Amo – Jesse

How sweet but he obviously forgot that it is meant to be a dozen of rose, one less than a dozen. I put the lovely flowers in a beautiful ceramic vase and put it on the windowsill of my room; where Jesse used to sat all the time.

All the way up to 6pm, my life was as boring as watching paint dry on the wall. Not that we've newly painted any part of the building. Only interesting part was when Cee Cee called to tell me about her great date with Adam.

Yes, they're officially going out. It made me jealous hearing about her date with Adam; but I was happy for her all the same.

Suddenly the doorbell rang and I jumped on my feet surprised that anybody would be visiting at this hour instead of celebrating V-Day. I opened the door and gasped.

Jesse was standing there. Saying he looked good would be an understatement. He practically shone under the skylight. He held a single rose in his hand with a small box of chocolate in a red heart shape in his hand.

"Querida, these are for you," Jesse said after seeing me just staring at him.

"Oh, Jesse, these are beautiful," I said after I was brought back into reality. "What about your hospital shift though?"

"I got somebody else to take it,"Jesse replied gently and I walked to put the gifts somewhere

After I put the rose in the vase and the chocolate on the table, I felt someone pulling me into them. It was Jesse. His hand was at my waist and he kissed me gently on the lips and I willingly kissed back. This was going to be one of the best nights in my life and the best part is…

Jesse and I have the house to ourselves tonight – winks -
