This is just a oneshot with Lizzie and Gordo. Please review!
Lizzie looked out of her bedroom window. She remembered all of the times that she spent with Gordo, and how she wished he had asked her to go to the dance with him instead of asking Parker
Mackenzie. It doesn't matter anyway. I wouldn't be able to dance with him because I'm the singer for the dance. She thought.
At the dance, she saw Parker and Gordo dancing to the music. She ran up to the stage after the host introduced her, and said, "Hey everyone! I'm Lizzie McGuire, and I'll be singing for you tonight! My first
song is for my best friend, Gordo." She was careful not to the say the title so it would be a surprise.
"When the night won't fall and the sun won't rise
And you see the best as you close your eyes
When you reach the top as you bottom out
But you understand what it's all about
Nothing's ever what it seems
In your life or in your dreams
It don't make sense, what can you do
So I won't try makin' sense of you
Love just is... whatever it may be
Love just is... you and me
Nothing less and nothing more
I don't know what I love you for... love just is
When you ask to stay and then disappear
It seems you're gone but you're really here
When every move seems out of place
But every kiss is filled with grace
Some things never get defined
In your heart or in your mind
It don't make sense, what can you do
So I won't try makin sense of you
Love just is... whatever it may be
Love just is... you and me
Nothing less and nothing more
I don't know what I love you for... love just is
Don't ever ask me for reasons
I can't get to you
Don't ever ask me for reasons
Why I live for you... I just do
I just do
Nothing's ever what it seems
In your life or in your dreams
It don't make sense, what can you do
So I won't try makin' sense of you
Love just is... whatever it may be
Love just is... you and me
Nothing less and nothing more
I don't know what I love you for... love just is"
Gordo's jaw was hung open as he saw Lizzie nervously announce another singer to sing for the crowd. Parker saw this, and she ran away looking very mad. Lizzie walked up to Gordo. "So…" she said with
anxiousness arousing in her voice. "Um… wow, you were great," "Wow, you were great? Is that all you can say, Gordo? After I sang to you that I love you in front of the whole school?" Gordo looked
down. "I'm sorry, its just that I'm trying to figure out if this is a dream or not. I never thought you would actually love me back," Lizzie put her hands on his shoulders. Neither of them realized that they were
getting closer and closer to each other. "What do you mean?" "I mean that I love you. I never wanted to say anything because I thought it would ruin our friendship." Gordo said. "I would never stop being
your friend if you asked me out," "Then why didn't you ask me?" Gordo wondered aloud. "Because I never realized how much I love you until that moment in Italy, up on the rooftop, and we never talked
about it since," "Okay, then how about we take a stroll outside and talk about it?" Lizzie thought about it. She said, "Ok, let's."
Outside, they talked about how each of them always wanted to say something but was always afraid, and how Gordo actually liked the kiss on the rooftop that he never responded to. They talked until the
faculty advisors of the dance went looking for all of the people who attended the dance and ushered them out. Lizzie and Gordo walked arm in arm all the way home that night.
How'd you guys like it? I hope it's not to cheesy. Most of my romance stories are filled with sap. R&R!
