My Valentine

(( Ok thiswas going to be a song fiction featuring the song Valentine by Jim Brickman, but since they aren't allowed anymore I've had to re-do it. It's short, but hopefully sweet. It kind of switches between their point of views ))

Disclaimer: If I owned Star Ocean they'd be a sequel to the game starting Albel and Nel, movies, a anime TV show, and my three made up character Amaya, Miyoko and Kitani would've been in it. So I don't. -sobs-

Albel's POV:

She looked at me with those green eyes. Eyes that I could get myself lost in. Oh how could fall for the likes of her! An Aquarian Scum! Yet as I hold her I feel safe. I feel like I want to protect her. Never let her out of my sight. Never let another man touch her. Why? What am I feeling?

Nel's POV:

He was known as Albel the Wicked. He doesn't seem very wicked right now. Those red eyes staring at me. I see his true self. He's broken inside. It looks as if he'd been searching for someone who could understand and love him. That's all he needed, but why him? Yes he was a very good fighter and I'll admit cute, but why him? I feel safe and warm in his embrace. What is this feeling?

Albel's POV:

I know now what I am feeling. It is love. I never thought I'd ever fall in love. My heart races. I pull away and press my lips upon her. She seemed shocked at first, but returned. She tastes almost like candy…

Nel's POV:

I know I love him, but I promised myself I'd never fall in love. Fayt said you can't help love, but I never believed him. He pulled away from me and pressed his lips upon mine. I was shocked at first, but soon returned it. He tasted so sweet. Almost like candy.

Albel's POV:

I pull away letting a small smile, yes not a smirk, but a smile cross my lips. Then I remembered the day that worm Cliff had told me. Valentines Day. It was today. "Nel, I…I love you. Will you be my Valentine?" I asked a bit shyly trying not to make a fool out of myself. I hear her response and smile. I shared another kiss with my love and my Valentine.

Nel's POV:

He pulled away and smiled. Wait he smiled! That was something new. Then it hit me like a Crosell sized rock(Maybe even bigger) It was Valentines Day. That day Mirage had told me about. My heart nearly stopped when I heard his words. I was quick to respond. "Yes. I will be your Valentine" I said. "I love you too Albel" He smiled again(-gasp-) at my answer. I shared another kiss with my love and my Valentine.
