"You know, Kabuto did want me to pass a message on to you.", Orochimaru said, as he grinned at Shizune from the branch of the cherry tree he was standing on.
Shizune glared at him angrily.
"Oh yeah? So what did he want to tell me?"
Orochimaru smiled at Shizune, and then chuckled to himself.
"Hmm...should I tell you? Or should I just let you stay on the edge, waiting for the answer?"
Shizune glared even more angrily. The wind rustled the leaves of the cherry tree, making the pink leaves dance and twirl around her. Orochimaru looked at the infuriated girl and said, "Oh? Are your angers getting the best of you?"
"Shut up!", Shizune yelled. Her angers really where getting the best of her. She spit some needles from her mouth, aimed right for Orochimaru. The snaky man easily dodged the attack, appearing suddenly in front of Shizune. Nose to nose, they where.
" Oh, come now..", Orochimaru whispered in her ear. "I didn't come here to fight, and I don't think Kabuto would be so happy if I killed you."
Shizune pushed him away. Now they where only a few feet away from each other. Shizune breathed in deeply, trying to calm herself.
"So what is it that I need to know...?"
"...Let's just say...he really did like you..."
"What?"
Orochimaru sighed and then smiled. "But, he's dead now. So what will it matter to you? He's going to miss you, alot."
Shizune just stood there, totally confused. "What do you mean by that...?"
"That's exactly what it means. He'll miss you."
And with saying those words, Orochimaru disappeared in a cloud of smoke, not to be seen by Shizune again.
Shizune was still confused. But then she knew, that, she had killed the only man that really loved her. Kabuto.
