A/N: Just a short and sweet scene between our favorite pairing

Chloe tied her shoulder length golden blonde hair back into a ponytail and clapped her hands together signaling that she was ready to get to work. She bent down and opened the first box marked Fragile. She carefully picked up a glass vase and began unwrapping it from the newspaper that protectively covered it. She placed it on the coffee table and stood back a moment to look at the mountains of other boxes she had yet to unpack. She let out an annoyed sigh and folded her arms across her chest. Chloe let out a surprised yelp as a pair of strong arms encircled her waist. A warm smile spread across her face when she felt him affectionately begin to nuzzle her neck.

"Good afternoon Mrs. Kent. May I say that you look absolutely ravishing?" Clark whispered seductively into her ear.

"Clark I am completely worn out from helping the movers for over three hours and I' am wearing a ratty old tank top and a pair of ripped jeans. Now tell me how exactly do I look ravishing?"

"Chloe you look beautiful every second of every single day." Clark told her, seriousness taking over his voice.

In one easy motion Clark swooped Chloe off of her feet and carried her over to the couch.

"Clark!" She whined in mock irritation. "I still need to unpack all of this stuff."

"Chloe you forgetting that I have super speed. I can get all of the unpacking done in under five seconds." He explained to her as he gently sat her down on the couch but made sure she was still securely in his arms.

"That's true but Clark this is our first house. I want us to take out time and remember every second of it."

Letting out a knowing huff Clark adjusted his glasses and looked away from her, a depressed look on his face.

Noticing this Chloe put her hand to his cheek and brought his face back to look at hers. "But that doesn't mean we can't have fun doing it." She said, moving suggestively against him.

Clark waggled his eyebrows and smiled leaning down to kiss her. Chloe wrapped her arms around his neck and eagerly returned his passion. Slowly breaking away from him Chloe tenderly traced her fingers across his handsome features. She carefully slid out from his arms and quietly walked over to the glass doors that led out to the patio. She pushed them open and stepped outside happily taking in a large lungful of fresh air. Clark walked up next to her and mimicked her actions.

"Ever feel that everything is perfect and nothing bad can ever happen?" Chloe asked quietly.

"When I'm with you I feel that all of the time."

"Something great is on the way Clark."

Clark knowingly placed his hand on Chloe's stomach and smiled down at her. "I know." He whispered. "I know."
