R aven got tired of people treating her like all the other Ravens. Like a dirty prankster. All she wanted was to be accepted in her society.
Flying around one day, she sees a lazy cat lying on a fence eating slowly. Everybody who passed Cat says a simple, "Hello".
"How do you get liked here?" Raven asked.
"I am who I am, I cannot change that." Cat replied quizzically. Raven got angry and took flight.
"Well, if I cannot be accepted as a Raven, I'll be accepted as a Cat!"
Making a clever white, cat mask, she went back to town. At first, people were enjoying her company and liking her jokes. An old man came along and noticed what she did. He whispered five words in the ear.
"You can never deface reality…" was all he said. Then he turned and walked away. Raven, realizing her mistake, took off her mask and revealed her true self. All of her new friends gasped. She got upset and flew away.Crying all the way to the mountains, she didn't notice she dropped the white mask. The old man came along and picked it up.
"It's better to be hated for what you are than liked for what you are not." He said to the air.
Every time he told this story to a new group of people,
Somebody took off a mask…
It's time for them to take theirs off. No, not just Naruto but him and all his friends. It's time to take off the mask of someone else. Their old enoguh now, to stop playing pretend.
a/n:I added the last paragraph to makeit relate to Naruto people.Yeah my friend ally(Angels Feather) wrote this for our art assignment. She sent it to me to read and i decided to post it up -grins evilly- waht i liked it ok? I mean come ON we can all relate to something like this, cause no one can name one person who hasn't or is wearing a mask at least once in their god damn lives.
