Sorry it took me sometime, but this will be the last part to Eyes Of Love. The first part 'Listen To Me' from Goku to Sanzo is answer here 'Voice' from Sanzo to Goku.
Voice
Long ago
A voice was calling to me
With such longing,
With such yearning.
I did not know where,
I did not know who,
I just don't want to care.
For I have sealed my ears,
For I have closed my eyes,
For I have walled my heart –
Behind a wall of ice.
For I do not wish to feel,
Nor to care.
For it hurt to much
To lose another.
Years has passed,
The voice never stop calling,
My journey never stopping,
Going ever on,
Long and winding;
It took me to you.
Your annoying voice,
Your irritating manner,
Your bottomless munching,
Your pitiful eyes.
They rub into me,
Slowly opening my ears,
Prying open my eyes
And eroding this wall of ice.
You have told me many a time
That I am your saviour,
That I am your sunshine.
Are these all I am to you?
For I have come to want more…
Is it greed?
Is it selfishness?
I wanted to see your eyes
When I open my eyes every morning,
And I wanted to see your smile
The very last thing, every night.
Call it destiny,
Or call it fate;
I don't want it any other way.
Just having you by my side,
Is like having rainbow at night.
Sanzo seems to be an angst sort of fellow, so this poem can not be 'fun' like Goku's one. And it gives me headache when writing it and try to end it with a positive loving note.. So sadly I'm living you to read and hopefully leave a review while I go and have my much needed beauty sleep.
