For You
I got the idea for this from listening to one of my favorite songs and decided that it fit Ranma perfectly so I hope you enjoy.
It was a perfect Sunday at the Tendo home. Two months have passed since the failed wedding and Ranma and Akane have come to an understanding. He tries not to insult her and she tries not to hit him with her mallet. Other than that nothing has changed, their parents keep interfering and trying to get them married, their fiances and suitors keep bugging them but tonight things will be different.
"Come on Ranma, go sing!" pleaded Akane
The Tendos and Saotomes have decided to have a little fun and decided to drag Ranma with them to the karaoke bar.
"I don't sing." said Ranma crossing his arms in a stubborn manner
A lightbulb went off in Akanes head and she went over to speak with Ranmas mother. After a few moments of whispering with Nodoka the older woman gets up and walks over to her son.
"Son, it's not very manly to refuse your fiances request." she says patting the long silk wrapped bundle in her arms.
Ranma started to sweat as he hurriedly replied "NO! She just misunderstood me I was just saying that I needed time to pick out a song."
"Oh good." Nodoka said with a smile and went back to her seat allowing Akane to go and take her seat by Ranma again.
"That was a dirty trick." said Ranma angrily "I'm tired of her manly crap."
"Well find a song that will tell her." suggested Akane
Ranma turned and looked at Akane like she had grown a second head before saying "Your brilliant!"
Akane blushed as Ranma started looking through the songs for the perfect one. After digging for about five minutes Ranma found it. "Perfect." he muttered to himself before going up to the stage holding a bottle of water and the thermos that he had recently started to carry around.
A guitar started playing in the background and Ranma started singing while looking directly at his Parents.
"To my mother, To my father. It's your son or it's your daughter." he sang splashing himself at the appropriate time with one then the other bottle changing into a girl just as he sang the word daughter and then changing back into a male.
"Are my screams loud enough for, you to hear me? Should I turn this up for you!"
"I sit here locked inside my head. Remembering everything you've said."
"This silence gets us nowhere! Gets us nowhere way to fast!"
"The silence is what kills me. I need someone here to help me." he sang the last part smiling at Akane before turning back to his mother
"But you don't know how to listen. And let me make decisions 'cause I sit here locked inside my head remembering everything you've said."

Turning his angry gaze to his father he continued to sing "All your insults, and your curses, make me feel like I'm not person."
"And I feel like I'm nothing, but you made me so do something."
"Because I'm fucked up, because you are, Need attention, attention you couldn't give"
"I sit here locked up inside my head, Remembering everything you've said"
"This Silence get us nowhere! gets us nowhere way to fast! "
With that the song ended and Ranma left the stage and walked over to where a shocked Akane was sitting and hugged her.
"Thanks for the idea." he said before releasing her and walking out of the karaoke bar and back to the Tendo home alone. Thinking 'now to just tell shampoo and Ukyo to go away.'
