So uhm this is my first story, it's a Syaoran/Sakura drabbel, I wrote it for a friend of mine.

It's inspired by the song Story of a Girl from Nine Days.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything from CCS, Clamp does.

She didn't love me, did I care?
Yeah I did, at first I didn't.
After I while I started to care, why I asked myself.I used to say it was because I was suposed to, as I promised to my mother I'd be with her, make her smile. I never saw her smile, it was like her little secret, like the cookie you secretly stole from the cookie jar, while your mother told you not to touch those cookies.
But she did once, it was the day she took me to some place, a park I believe, she said that if I was to be her husband, I would atleast have seen the cherry blossoms When we arrived I saw why, it was a mid spring day, so the cherry blossoms were blooming, it was beautiful.
That was the moment I saw her smile, the most beautiful smile I ever saw.
From that day on, I cared.

I was only seventeen, and she even younger.
But we were already told who to marry, a promise made to our mothers.
She being herself, kept that promise, she yelled and cried for hours, such a drama-queen.
But she still kept that promise, to do something for her mother, because she never had the chance to when she was younger.
I went to the same school as here, she had no friends at all, I asked her why, she said she didn't need any.
She said she had a friend, but she was in England, to be with her boyfriend, that she would come back in a year.
She'd always sit by herself, and whenever I sat next to her, she wouldn't speak a word.
She was a loner, but she didn't care.

I saw her cry ones, in the middle of the night.
I didn't know what to do, so I hugged her.
I never asked why she cried.
She would tell me if she wanted to.
But I couldn't help but think, I don't ever want to see her cry.

On our wedding day, she locked herself up in our room.
She said she wouldn't come out.
But she came out a couple of minutes before the ceremony.
She took my breath away, the wedding dress hugged all her curves perfectly.
I could not help but gape at her, while her father walked her down the isle.
It al went by so fast, when the wedding ended, we went away, on our honeymoon.
She said she wanted to talk to me, about something that was on her heart.
She thanked me, I was looking at her with a confused expression on my face as the words escaped her mouth.
She thanked me, 'for what are you thanking me?' I asked.
'For being my friend' was her answer.
It was then, I decided to stay by her side for the rest of her life.

That was my story about a girl, Kinomoto Sakura, the girl that owns my heart.
