Well, this feels weird. My very first Trigun fanfic. Not my first fic by any means, but i've never delved into the Trigun world. It may sound weird, but here is a LegatoxDomonique story. I'll explain when you finish. So read and review. Please. Then i'll give you a donut. (I apologize if you read this the fiest time. I got the name wrong, because i was seriously out of it.)

She ran. Ran away. How could she have failed? Against that man, that fool! Her Demon Eye, beaten by that red-clad idiot.

She stopped against a wall and breathed deeply. How far had she gone? Enough for her to be out of breath. But was the lack of breath really from running, or from the previous battle?

"Domonique!"

She turned at the sound of her name. "Wha-?"

Midvalleylooked down at her. A few feet away, he smirked. "So you got beaten too, Huh?" He said, mockingly.

"Yes, but... I don't know...he..." She mumbled, looking down at the ground.

"You sound flustered," He said, shifting his saxophone to his other hand. "The great 'Cyclops', looking so belittled."

"Shut up!" She shouted, the color rising in her cheeks. "No need to get upset. Besides, Legato wants to see you." he said, tilting his head sideways.

"Legato...?" She trailed off, looking a bit confused. He smiled again. "Follow me".

He led her through the abandoned streets, in the opposite direction of her previous battle. He opened the door to an abandoned saloon.

Sitting inside, among the dust covered chairs and bar, sat Legato. His long, white coat dusted the ground. His eyes were closed, his head held in his hand. He looked quite peaceful, as opposed to his normal attitude. The dim sunlight that filtered through an old crack in the wall illuminated his face. It shone off of his dark blue hair, and layed a soft glow on his handsome features.

"Boss. She's here."Midvalley said, walking behind Domonique.

Legato opened his eyes, the gold in them glittering in the light. A smile crossed his face. "You can leave, now." He said.

Midvalleynodded and left, the door swinging shut after him.

A few moments after he left, Legato stood. He smiled and walked over to her.

Domonique stood frozen, her eyes fixed on the ground. "Why did you send for me?" She asked.

He grinned. "Why...?" He leaned in and breathed against her neck.

A blush crept into her face. "You failed..." He took a strand of her hair in his hand and kissed it, eyes closing. His other hand cradled the back of her head.

"I'm sorry..." She murmered. He chuckled softly. "You're apologizing?" he said.

He kissed her cheek, lips resting there for a moment's time. "What are you...?" She asked, her eyes widening slightly.

"You didn't kill Vash the Stampede, did you?" He breathed, lips on her ear. He moved to her throat and kissed it.

She was frozen, afraid to move. She was also caught, not wanting to break this embrace. His lips, soft and perfect, and his warm breath. She didn't want it to leave.

"I'm sorry, but i'll try again. Then i'll defeat him. I promise." Her eyes closed and she nestled her face in his neck, treasuring his warmth.

"Next time?" He said softly, running his hand through her long, dark hair.

"Yes...I'll try again." She promised.

"But...There will not be a next time. Not for you." He said, gripping her hair tightly.

Her eyes shot open. The pain throbbed, bright and blinding.

"You failed."

So that was it. What do you think? Okay, about this couple. You know how you always(okay, maybe it's just me.) have that couple that is completely unrealistic, but you lovde it? That's Legato and Domonique. They are damn sexy together. I don't know. I just love when she first shows up, and Legato gives her that LOOK! Sorry, i just love it. Anyway, review. The moral of the story is: Do not accept seductive cdharm from blue haired men.
