Martha came home after going to the hospital only to recive word that her husband had been in a coma for sometime and they had no idea when he was to come out of it. Clark had gone missing for the past day and he had been talking about leaving with that girl who claimed to be from krypton. It worried her beacause Johnathan had been found in the caves and Clark was gone. A symbol from his planet had burned into her yard. He was gone if not forever. he only child her son, her light was gone.
She walked into the house put her purse on the counter and keys on the hook and proceeded upstairs. She got naked and went into to take a long long hot shower. She was trying to hard not to cry, she wanted to be so strong. she wanted to hold it all in.
She left the shower and went to the dirty clothes basket. She put on one of her husbands shirts and went into her only sons room and took a pillow of his bed. she put the pillow under her head and could smell her sons one of a kind scent. the smell of his hair and the smell of her husbands hard worked sweat along with his colonge broke her. she broke down crying, she cried for 3 hours and screamed . She didnt care if anyone could hear her. She was alone. He only son was gone and Her love of her life was gone. She was alone. She screamed and cryed out " Why me? Whhhyyyyyy!" She screamed once more. She cried herself to sleep. she dreamed of so many memories that night.,
She dreamt of the time she was baking a cake for johnathan and clark went to pour the flour in and he missed the bowl and must have poured two bags worth of baking flour all over himself. and when martha turned around he just smiled and said " Opps!" . how could she resist being mad at a face like that. Then she dreamt of when she met johnathan and she could still hear his soft country voice say " I prefer to believe in pepole" And he thinking I hope he marry's me , then she woke up to the phone ringing, she got up and ran so fast she swore she was running at superspeed hoping it to be the hospital calling to let her know her love had woken up , but was not surprised when she awnsered it
