Neji knew that just because Hinata agreed to marry him, it doesn't mean that she loves him in the least bit.
But still he believed that Hinata was not at fault.
It wasn't her fault that he started to actually eat breakfast simply because the meal was done by Hinata
It wasn't her fault that Neji was starting to get used to Hinata's presence around the house.
And.
It definitely wasn't her fault that Neji was starting to seek out Hinata's warmth during those cold, ANBU nights.
But.
Hinata would never know.
Hinata would never understand that just because it was Neji's duty to serve her and the clan, means that he can't love her anymore than he does now.
