Everyday Rossitor holds her head into a bucket of water.
Everyday Jenkins pleads with her to give in.
Everyday V is torn that she won't.
Rossitor holds her head down longer, until she is on the verge of asphyxiation. He yanks her free with a hand around her neck, since she has no hair now. He shouts obscenities into her ears and strings her from the ceiling like a cut of butcher's meat, increasingly with cruel laughter to serenade the pain.
Jenkins begs for longer, until he is on the verge of treason, too. He weaves tales of sunshine and daisies but his beautiful words spoken from such a vile tongue only strengthen her resolve. He eventually seems to realise what he's doing, or else hears Rossitor outside, and hastily, guiltily, withdraws from her cell.
V watches the two guards and splits his time evenly between breaking and freeing her.

Thanks for the review! (Yes, singular, the horror! Though if I'm honest I didn't expect many for this.) I named one of the guards Jenkins, there is no mention of any other names apart from Rossitor in either the film or graphic novel. Now here's food for thought: which guard is breaking her and which is freeing her?
