Kite had been told by someone to gather the Ryu Books because it would unlock his true power. He was in Hidden, Forbidden, Holy Ground with Blackrose and just beat a Headhunter, unsuccessful about trying to find the first Ryu Book.
"I remember when we first came here." Blackrose said. "And we couldn't beat that thing."
"Yeah. Well, we had better get going. I only came here for the book." Kite said. Then they left the castle and went across the bridge back to the portal. Once they had gone back to town, Kite said, "I also heard there was a book at Discovered, Primitive, Touchstone. Wanna go there too?"
"Sure, I love adventuring, but let's stock up again first." Blackrose said. So they went to the item shop and bought a couple of Potions, not to mention some Antidotes, Fairy's Orbs, Fortune Wires, and Sprite Ocarinas. Then they went to the portal again and to Discovered, Primitive, Touchstone. "Wow, it's like a desert out here." Blackrose said.
"Yeah, but I have to find the Ryu Books." Kite said. He used a Fairy's Orb and they fought their way to the dungeon. In the first room they encountered a Deadly Moth and Kite data-drained it. He ended up with an Earth Sword and gave it to Blackrose. On the second level they had a hard time with the Magical Goblins and on the third floor it was the same. On the fourth floor Kite got a Gakaku from data-draining a Sword of Chaos. On the last floor they encountered Cadet Valkyries, which were much harder than everything else, but at least they got to the Gott Statue. From the Gott Statue they received a Ceramic Anklet, a Rainbow Card, and a Grunt Doll. The Ceramic Anklet was useful for Kite, and they sold the Rainbow Card and Grunt Doll back in town. "It's weird that there wasn't a Ryu Book there." Kite said.
"Yeah. So, I guess we're done for the day?" Blackrose said.
"Well, I do know of one more place, but if you're tired I'll go myself." Kite said.
"Nope, I'm not tired at all. In fact, I'm glad we're not done!" Blackrose said.
"I'm sure there's going to be a Ryu Book there. Expansive, Haunted, Sea of Sand." Kite said and they went through the portal again. Of course Kite used a Fairy's Orb and they fought their way to the dungeon again. On the first floor they encountered a Chicken Hand, the second was the same, and on the third floor they encountered another Headhunter. Kite data-drained it and received the first Ryu Book. After the fight, they encountered someone named Mistral who wanted to come with them on their next adventure. After Mistral left, they traveled to the Gott Statue to receive a Cougar Bandana, a Grunt Doll, and Yellow Candy. The Cougar Bandana helped Kite and of course he sold the Grunt Doll and Yellow Candy. "I'm glad I found the Ryu Book" Kite said.
"Yeah. After all that, I wouldn't want nothing. Anyways, you don't have any more ideas, right?" Blackrose said.
"No, but I'll check on the boards so that we have somewhere to go tomorrow, and with Mistral, too." Kite said.
"Ok, so, I'll meet you tomorrow?" Blackrose said.
"Yeah, I'll be waiting by the portal." Kite said. "Cya."
"Bye." Blackrose said, and they both logged out of The World.
