I've decided Teen Titans was ended so terribly that I needed to continue it. There was just so many questions, so much room for more shows, a new season to be born...could it be a hint? I don't know, so here I am, writing this even though I'm in the middle of a very long Teen Titans fanfic called Eyes That Never Change. If you like this story so far, you HAVE to read Eyes that Never Change! It's excellent. Or at least I think so.
And now, Teen Titans can continue!
Disclaimer: Let's pretend I own Teen Titans so this episode, long as it may be, can go on the air!...Or...maybe not...
Things Change Part II
By the time Beast Boy had arrived at the scene, the elemental monster had finished off the other Titans. Beast sprang into action, morphing every few minutes into a more powerful beast until he was finally a T. Rex, and squashed the nasty creature. It magically melted, and then evaporated. It was finished. Beast Boy turned back into his human form, panting.
"Way to go, Beast Boy!" cheered Robin.
"You have destroyed that evil Glorknok!" said Starfire happily.
"Boo yah!" crowed Cyborg.
Beast Boy grinned. He had done well, hadn't he? He was a hero! He looked at Raven, who still held her complement, but was looking right at him with her violet eyes. Beast Boy coughed jokingly, and did a pose with his eyes closed, hands on his hips and head high. When there was still no words from Raven, he opened one eye in her direction. With the other three Titans examining what had happened with the creature, Raven looked unabashed and impatient.
"Did you find her?" she asked.
Beast Boy sighed, and dropped his pose. "Yes, but she didn't admit it. I know it was her because she said before I left, 'Things change, Beast Boy.'"
Raven rolled her eyes. "That sounds like a television episode, where it was named that and someone finally says it at the end." (A/N: tee hee)
Beast Boy nodded. He paused, then admitted something he was planning to keep to himself but somehow blurted,"I saw Slade."
Raven's eyes widened slightly. She looked at the other Titans, making sure they'd heard nothing. Then she looked back at Beast Boy. "Did he say anything?"
Beast Boy nodded. "He said she was avoiding me. And that he didn't help her come back, or was in league with her..." Beast Boy shook his head. "But I'm not sure I believe him."
"I can't blame you. Slade isn't really one to trust."
"He helped us with you and your father."
"That was different."
"I always wondered when we'd see him again, because after we destroyed your father he took off."
"I knew we'd see him again, sooner or later."
Beast Boy sighed. "I was hoping he, like, died while we were away."
Raven shrugged, then she followed the other Titans into the T car. Beast Boy sighed and trailed after her.
During the ride home, Beast Boy was quiet. The other Titans left him alone, remembering the Terra dilemma of the day.
Beast Boy couldn't help but wonder why he had told everything to Raven. She asked, yes, but that didn't compel him to answer–let alone spill about Slade.
It was something about Raven. And he suddenly realized that throughout the whole past two days with Terra, he hadn't felt heartache or love. Something else had changed, and it didn't have anything to do with the town.
It had to do with Raven.
Whatever, I'm obvious. No, this isn't a oneshot. I don't write oneshots–I'm too complex. Anyway, review! And give me more ideas for the next chapter!
