Part 1: The new Ninja
"Oh, come on Master Kakashi, why do we have to go on another D ranked mission?" exclaimed Naruto. "I mean, we're Chounin, I'm tired of all this sh-" Sakura punching him in the face cut him off. "Naruto! You're such a pain! Just give it a rest for once!" Naruto got up, rubbed his head, and folded his arms, annoyed. Sasuke looked over at Naruto. "Idiot." He whispered to himself.
"Uh, thank you Sakura." Said Kakashi. "As I was saying, you will be going on another D ranked mission. You will be picking apples for Misses Kishimoto, so get moving."
The three-man team headed out to the apple orchard as they were told. Sasuke sent chakra to his feet and began to climb the tree. He then picked the apples on the top. Sakura did the same. Naruto, on the other hand, still feeling stubborn, began to pick up apples on the ground. "This sucks, why do we always have to go on D ranked missions? We went on one C ranked, and we turned out fine!" he exclaimed. Sakura's face turned red. "That should have been an A ranked mission you dunce! If it weren't for Kakashi, Zabuza would have killed us all. We're lucky we made it out of there alive, so shut up and start picking!" Sakura exclaimed, and Naruto shut up. Sasuke laughed to himself.
Ten minutes past and they had enough apples to deliver to Misses Kishimoto. They began to walk back, when Sasuke had a bad feeling. He couldn't quite explain it, but he knew someone, or something was following them. "Hold up." he said, stopping in his tracks. "Someone is following us." Naruto and Sakura turned around. Sasuke reached for a kunai knife. There was a rustle in the bushes, and a boy stumbled out. "Whoa! Whoa! Don't kill me! I'm being chased by sound ninja!" the boy exclaimed. "Sound ninja, that's impossible, they were all wiped out during the war we fought against them!" Naruto exclaimed. "Apparently not!" Sasuke said. "How do you know that?" asked Sakura. "Because there they are!".
Two sound ninja appeared out of the bushes. Both of their faces were covered so only there eyes were visible. Their sound headbands were around their heads. They were dressed identical to each other. "Well, well, well, if it isn't some Leaf Village rookies. Its our lucky day, isn't it Sabu?" one of the sound ninja said. "Why, yes Maku, it is." The other one said. "We can now kill four birds with one stone." Sabu said. "Indeed, we can." Replied Maku.
"I don't think so!" exclaimed an unknown voice. Everyone looked up, and Kakashi was flying toward the sound ninja. "No way Kakashi!" exclaimed Maku, but it was too late. Kakashi stabbed both of them in the face with kunai knives. There was no way they were fast enough to avoid his attack. He stood back up and turned around. "So, kid, why were the sound ninja attacking you?" asked Kakashi. "Master Kakashi, a better question would be where did the sound ninja come from." Said Sakura. "Quiet Sakura!" ordered Kakashi, his voice was serious. Sakura backed off immediately. Never heard Master Kakashi so serious before. "I'll ask again kid, why did the sound ninja attack you?"
