In the world of Hyrule, a monstrous beast has overtaken the land, and soon its powers will grow to a point where it can kill all of society. The man meant to save Hyrule awakens, and goes to defeat this beast. What he doesn't know is that another hero lies in wait, waiting for his time to shine. The story of a princess who wants to be queen, a prince who is destined to be king, and a young man who might be a hero. This story seeks to tie together elements from numerous Legend of Zelda games in order to create a cohesive world in the style of epic fantasy novels.

Descended from great heroes, a boy named Link is the only hope for the land of Hyrule when the evil wizard Agahnim deposes the King and plans a grizzly fate for Princess Zelda. But his task of rescuing the Princess will lead him on an adventure beyond the Kingdom he knows, to a dark and dangerous world where a monster from the past reigns supreme.
