Lord Vladislaus Dragula paced the empty and hollow halls of his frozen castle. Many thoughts…memories came flooding back to him in an enjoyable and yet very painful wave. Why did his presence do such a thing to him? Even to this day and age? He had no heart. He had no emotion. That man seemed to be then only one who could bring emotion inside him in such a matter.

"It's been over four hundred and he chooses to show himself now." He whispered into the night. He stared into the darkness and a indescribable feeling of anger and hatred swelled up inside him. Not for Gabriel…but for his God. Then he looked down at his left hand and balled it into a fist. Gripping so hard that a small stream of blood had dripped down his hand and on to the floor. The last he had seen his once partner the man had taken his life. And as proof of his victory the Dragula ring that Vladislaus bore was removed from him and taken to his father to prove his eldest son was dead. Though he never thought Gabriel was that sloppy as to completely disfigure his left ring finger.

His mortal death was in the name of the Christian God. Because of him his friend, his partner…murdered him.

"If only you knew Gabriel." Dracula said out loud as if Gabriel was anywhere near him. "If only you knew the many powers that are out there. One's your God couldn't even comprehend."

Vladislaus would never admit it out loud…but he did mourn the death of his and Gabriel's friendship. Gabriel seemed to be the only one kept up to his graces. He had…truly saved Vladislaus. By his mortal death he was awoken to so many…new and pleasurable things. And for that he could never truly harm Gabriel….

The Count then let out such a frightening laugh that it would make your very heart stop beating in fear. YES! He finally knew how to take his vengeance on the one he had once worshipped. Gabriel was a fallen angel. Gabriel was Gods left hand on earth…but no longer. He would have his partner in crime back. And his God would lose yet another angel. Vladislaus licked the wound on his hand tasted his own blood.

"After all." Vladislaus laughed. "I always return a favor"
