It was raining out. It was rare for gloomy rain to grace the light, warm days of Twilight Town. But Fuu didn't mind being outside when it was raining, for the light rain pattering at her pale skin was almost calming. No one was out today, everyone was trying to get chores done in their homes that they had put off for such a long time. Everyone wanted to be outside to enjoy the long, muggy summer days.
The rain drops were big, heavy, and pretty cold. The air was even cold and misty, but Fuu really enjoyed it. It was also rare for a cool day in Twilight Town, even in winter! This town was a miracle, she thought sometimes.
"Two sea salt ice creams please," Fuu said, pulling two dollars out of her pocket and pushing it towards the ice cream vendor. It was so easy talking to someone you really didnt know. The young, lazy ice cream vendor looked about ready to doze off into a nap, he probally didn't expect paying customers on such a day as this.
"Here ya go," He said, handing her two light blue, sweet smelling ice cream confections. Fuu turned away and looked towards the sandlot. A spiky blonde haired kid was, suprisingly, sitting on the struggle mat, his head in his hands. Fuu could feel her face getting hot. She stared at her ice creams, which werent melting yet for it was a tad bit cool. She pondered why she had even bought two ice creams as she pushed herself towards the struggle mat. When she was finally in front of the boy, he looked up and she passed him the ice cream.
"For me?" Roxas said, looking at the ice cream. Fuu nodded seemlingly emotionless. He grabbed the ice cream and started to eat it as Fuu sat next to him and started to eat hers. She didnt understand why everyone really liked this ice cream. Sea salt. It didn't seem too appealing, nor tasty. But everyone was addicted to it here in Twilight Town. She could feel the clear cerulean eyes of Roxas on her. She turned to him, and he almost jumped in suprise.
"Why," Fuu began, taking a little bite of the ice cream before continuing, "Are you sitting out in the rain?"
"The same reason you are," Roxas replied, smiling a bit before taking a bite of his ice cream.
They were soaking wet from the rain, but it didnt cease. When the ice creams were finished and nothing was left but the sticks, they both stood up and threw them in the nearest garbage can and went their own ways. But, no one ever noticed it seemed, whenever it rained, Fuu always bought two sea salt ice creams.
One for her. One for Roxas.
Okay. I'm in LOVE with this pairing. Theres not much romantic-y stuff in it, but you can sense the odd connection between them, even if they don't say much. Stop. I'm bad at this. XD
