He had never thought he could ever tolerate rudeness, until she came around.
"Hey, Kyo, I'm talking to you." She stomps her feet and throws a sake bottle in his direction, which he catches and pours himself a cup.
"You…You….Insolent, ungrateful JERK." She yells before raging out of the room. He can hear her running away crying.
He had never thought he could laugh, until she came around.
"And then Tora-san came and peeped at me while in the hot springs." She says angry to him. He looks amused at her for a second.
"So?" He asks and tilts his head to the side.
"So? You will of course go and kick his ass, or I'll kick yours." She says and grins viciously.
He laughs at her innocence before pushing her lightly to the side.
He had never thought he could worry about anyone, until she came around.
Shinreis swords came quickly down towards her neck; she had no chance in defending herself.
He couldn't watch, he couldn't be witness to her death. With will alone he broke free of the body bind and dodged Shinreis attack. She looked shocked at him. As if he wouldn't have saved her.
He had never thought he could do anything else than killing, until she came around.
"Kyo, don't just sit there, come and help me." He glared at her before rising slowly from the floor and walked over to her.
"Carry these for Me." she demanded and put some sake bottles into his arms. He smirked and went over to his tatami to sit down again.
"Oh no you don't, carry them out to Bon-san."
He had never thought he could love….
"Kyo, what will you do now?" She asked and stared up at him. He smiled sincerely and looked past her face and into the forest.
"Me too…" she whispered, and as he started walking down the road she followed him.
A silent understanding between them and a promise bound.
