Birthday - Theme 23: Candy
"Close your eyes and hold out your hands."
"Why?"
"Because I said so, Fred, you dolt, now just do it."
No sooner had Fred Weasley done so than his hands were filled with small foil-wrapped objects.
"What are these?"
"Your birthday kisses, Fred, what else?"
He looked at them for a moment, raised one eyebrow, and began. "They're… a bit impersonal, aren't they?"
"Well, you should've been more specific when you told me. Next time instead of saying 'Some kisses, Angie', you should say 'I would like to mash faces with you, darling.' Maybe then you won't be disappointed."
"I would like to mash faces with you, darling."
"Why Mr. Weasley, I'd be happy to oblige."
The alternate title to this could be "Because Catie is leaving for a month of Japanese camp tomorrow and really didn't want to have to give up the pairing due to not updating. And inspiration struck anyway. This was written in 10 minutes and is the closest to a 100-word, real-live drabble I've ever gotten.
I promise to write more drabble-ish goodness upon my return in mid-August; don't despair.
