Scott –

Alvers? Of course I don't like the guy and I really don't like him with Kitty, I mean even if you set aside the fact that he's part of the brotherhood, already one huge strike against him in my book, you can't get past the fact that he's a world class hood.

I don't know what she sees in him or why they're constantly getting together. I have to admit I should have paid attention more in the beginning, but I was busy with my own problems. I mean, Kitty is a cute girl and she's got a good head on her shoulders, so I trust her to see what's right, but sometimes she can be really flaky and I question her ability to see him for what he is.

A loser.

Why do girls always pick guys who are so wrong for them?

Rogue –

I know a lot of people would say he's not good enough for her and you know they're probably right. Lance has a lot of things wrong with him, but he tries and he's never intentionally done her wrong. Yeah, there are a lot of things he's done that are just fucked up and honestly, ordinarily I'd tell her to not bother with a guy like him.

It's just like this: Lance doesn't seem to have ever tried to be nice to anyone, never mind a girl he liked; he's going to make some mistakes. And you know it's nice to have someone that you like, like you back, since it's obvious that Kitty has a thing for Lance, no matter what she says.

Wolverine –

I leave the personal stuff to the kids. I mean, yeah, I'd break the kid in two if he ever hurt the half pint, but I like to keep out of this sort of thing. Kitty has to decide for herself what she wants and what's right for her. Like any other kind of frail, I don't think Kitty knows what she wants right now, but she knows the guy's devoted to her so she's playing him around some. I don't think she's doing it consciously, and I feel sort of bad for the guy, he's going through the grinder over her.

Hell, give the Alvers kid some training and a few years of experience and I think he could turn into an alright guy. It's up to the two of them now.

Toad –

Pryde? I'm still trying to get used to the idea of Lance being into a valley girl like her. Hey don't get me wrong, Pryde is cute, but you know she's got these issues, like always sending mixed signals. It hurts my head watching Lance get all goggle eyed over her, frankly it makes me want to loose my lunch.

Speaking of lunch hang on a sec, slurp, yeah, good fly.

Anyway, seems to me like girls are nothing but trouble. I try to tell him to watch out for her but he always just tries to sink me under a mountain of rubble. Hey, I guess some guys are just destined right?

Tabitha –

I know that the others look at the two of them and think no way, but Lance is pretty cute and he has a sweet Jeep. Yeah, he's a little rough around the edges, but there's something hot about a guy who lives on the dangerous side.

Not that I think Lance is all that dangerous, it seems like the longer I know him the less teeth he has you know? Like he's really losing that edge he had. Then again, some guys are just born losers right, but hey I'm not going to throw stones. I look at him and compare our childhoods and I think he ended up with the better deal. At least his old man isn't trying to use him like mine was.

I guess my point is that Kitty is a pretty lucky girl. Do I think Lance is all that? No, but he's got potential and he likes her.
