Chapter One:
Fight
"All right, here you go, two hot dogs, and two cokes…that's 5.99. Oh, and Miles, don't forget, standard gratuity is 15, not 0." Jackson said, handing Miley and Oliver their food.
"Jackson!" Miley groaned, but still handed him a 90 cent tip.
"Oh, you can't spring an extra dime for your favorite brother?"
"Who said you were my favorite brother?" asked Miley.
"Ohhhhh, you got told! Let's go, Miley." Oliver laughed.
They walked out by the water and sat on the sand.
"So, back to our original conversation." Miley said with a sly grin.
"Miley, do we have to talk about this?" Oliver groaned.
"Yes. Yes we do. It's important."
"So what if I like Lily? I don't have to tell her!"
"Yes you do! Look, here she comes. Just get it over with. You'll be fine."
"No! No, Miley, no-"
"Hey guys!" Lily exclaimed.
"Hey." Miley and Oliver said in unison.
"Look, Lily, Oliver has something to tell you."
"Yeah, sure. What is it?" Lilly asked.
"Um, you-you have something in your teeth." Oliver said.
"Oh, how embarrassing!" Lilly cried, "Hold on, I'll be back."
Lilly went off to the bathroom, not seeing the death glare Miley gave Oliver.
"OLIVER!" Miley cried, "You were supposed to tell her!"
"I can't! It's too hard."
"What's hard about it?"
"Everything! Just-just stop meddling, Miley. Stop messing up my life."
"Fine! If you don't want my help, then-"
"I don't NEED your help!"
'Whoa," Jackson said, coming down to the beach, "You got told."
"Well," Oliver thought as Miley stomped off, "At least I still have Lilly."
