a/n: 'ello. Just a small one-shot taking place when Todd sees Johanna in his shop. I kind of implied that Johannaknew that the Judge wasn't her father. In the musical or atleast the revival the don't make it seem like sheknows or not.enjoy && read/review!

Johanna cringed from the shadows as the body of her caretaker fell through a shaft. Oh dear God, when was Anthony going to get here? Come and rescue her from this horrid city called London.

She slowly peaked her head outfrom the shadows. The man who had killed Judge Turpin was nowhere to be seen. She slowly moved away from her hiding spot, calling Anthony's name softly.

"Anthony? Are you here? Oh please my love, if you are near give me a sign."

"What are you doing here?" a deep voice muttered menacingly.

"Oh, uhm." she adjusted her voice to sound slightly deeper, "I just came in for a shave and..."

"Your lying," he responded, an eery light sparkled in his eyes.

"Oh I swear, sir, please, I saw nothing and will tell not a soul, just please, I beg of you let me go," Johanna pleaded, glancing out at window for any sign of Anthony.

The man's expression slowly began to soften, "Johanna?" he whispered under his breath.

"That," sheremoved Anthony'shat off, "Is my name. How did you know it?"

"Nevermind that, you must leave, now. Tell no one what you saw though."

Johanna looked at him in the eye. He did not look as scary and dangerous as he did moments earlier. The barber seemed to have an amost joyous look in his eyes, "Thank you, sir," she nodded and hurried down the steps to find her love.

Sweeney watched from the window as Johanna embraced Anthony. A small tear trickled down his pale cheek as his daughter entered the carrige.

"And though I'll think of you I guess, until the day I die, I think I'll miss you less and less, as every day goes by."
