His death was inevitable, as was the loss of his majestic Pearl, and thus; the only thing to do was wield a brave sword in the gaping maw of death, for Jack Sparrow didn't go down in chains; Jack Sparrow was not to die a captive on his own ship. And so his darkest hour turned into his finest moment as he lunged, with unspeakable valor, into the crushing jaws of destruction, his world crumbling in a thunderous roar behind him. It was the stuff of legends, yet this time it was all very real.

"It turns out not even Jack Sparrow can best the devil."

But he knew something that none of them would even think to fathom: Jack Sparrow is the devil.
