What Strange Sea

Another girl, another planet

Another song, another dance

Another child that ran the river

If it was given half the chance

Another hope, another silence

Another life, another sun

Another lady draped in azure

Another hand upon the gun.

Another dream among the rubble

Another soul you could have snatched

Another mirror, another sorrow

Behind a gate forever latched.
