Hey! This is my first RikuSora, but not my first yaoi. If you don't like the idea of two boys in love then maybe you might want to try reading one of my other straight pairings that I have written. Please review! It is a very short one shot!

Darkness surrounded Riku and Sora as they sat together on Riku's favorite tree, the papou fruit tree. The silver haired boy noticed small streams of tears traveled down Sora's youthful face.
"It's not your fault ya know." The brown hair boy wiped away a tear as he nodded. "Yeah…but I still say Kairi didn't have to die." Sora hopped off the tree with Riku following him.
"Hey, Sora!" "Hm?" He turned around just in time to catch a star shaped fruit thrown to him. "What's this for?" Riku looked down at the dirt and shyly answered, "I know how much you wanted to share it with Kairi."
He walked past Sora and started to walk away when something stopped him. Sora had grabbed his hand and was holding Riku there. "I didn't really love Kairi. She was a great friend and all…it's just that I didn't feel as strongly about her as everyone thought."
Riku puzzled as he stared at Sora. "So what…you don't want the fruit?" The brown haired boy blushed and looked at his friend. "I want to share it with you!" "What!"
Sora was red with embarrassment as he repeated himself. "I want you to eat the fruit with me. I love you, Riku." The silver haired boy blushed as he used the hand that Sora wasn't holding to bring the fruit up to his mouth.
He took a bite then urged Sora to do the same. Sora smiled as he bit off a piece of the fruit. Then both hands slipped out from under the fruit. Riku's arm wrapped around Sora's waist while his other hand that Sora had released slowly caressed his face.
They slowly moved closer as Riku whispered, "Don't give into the darkness, Sora. Your heart is too pure and caring to be wasted like that."
Then Riku stole Sora's lips in a passionate kiss and as Sora's eyes closed, a peak of the sun was revealed. As if symbolizing the dawning of a new love.
