It was just like all the times before. They came, they saw, and they took what they wanted.
I guess that's why the world called them pirates.
She thought of them in a simpler way, they were customers…just customers. They used her and paid her. To them, she was just another pretty face, just another night on land. There were no relationships, no pretty words, no diamond rings, not for her.
She knew it was wrong to expect more from them. She was a whore after all. She supposed that if she shared her thoughts with anyone else they would tell her that maybe it was time she found a new profession…but what else could a girl like her do? Especially in Tortuga…here she was trapped in her life, suffocated by the stench of immorality that surrounded her.
Her parents had been God fearing people. Sometimes she wondered what they would think of her if they were still alive. Would they turn their backs on her, disown her? Or would they love her still, despite her life of sin? It was useless to wonder, her life was here, now. Her parents were gone. The only thing that mattered was finding her next mark.
"Scarlet," A smooth voice behind her caused her to turn her head.
There before her stood her greatest weakness. The man that made all the others mere shadows.
His eyes roamed their familiar path down her body then returned to rest on her bosom. "Hello luv," he said lazily.
"Well, do my eyes deceive me or is it Captain Jack Sparrow? Back so soon?" She asked as she approached him.
"Couldn't stay away," he said, taking her in his arms.
As his tongue invaded her mouth and his hands began to roam freely she remembered why she stayed in Tortuga. It was for moments like this…with him.
