"Not that bad." Jack Sparrow told himself.
The infamous pirate Captain was standing on his beloved boat – ship – The Black Pearl. Both the Captain and his ship where drenched in slime. In front of the Captain was what looked like a giant octopus, with teeth.
He knew there was only one way out, he had to face the problem. And facing problems was something Jack hardly ever did. It was now or never.
"Hello Beastie"
And then he rushed forward. Not because he didn't want his ship to end up on the bottom of the sea and not because he wanted to save his own life. But because he wanted to save the life of his friends, Will, Elizabeth, Gibbs and even Cotton with his bloody parrot.
Not to far away the rest of the pirates where looking back at the ship. Then it suddenly went under, together with the Kraken and Jack.
The next thing Captain Jack Sparrow knew he was lying on a beach with one hell of a headache. Was he dead? He stood up and looked around, maybe death wasn't that bad at all. But when he started walking around the island he realized he'd been here before.
He had survived.
Confused, Jack was sitting on the beach. He didn't remember what happened when he jumped up to the Kraken. He did discover a scar on his right leg, but he had no other injuries. He'd been sitting on the beach for hours, wondering how he could still be alive. But the only thing he could think of was that he had killed the Kraken. But why didn't he remember?
He decided to take a walk around the Island in search of some food. He came across some burned palm trees. The memories from Elizabeth burning all the rum made him want to laugh and cry at the same time. He realized he probably wouldn't see any of his friends anymore. They probably thought he was dead and now there was no reason for rumrunners or the navy to come by this island. He would die lonely of starvation.
None other than Hector Barbossa walked down the stairs in Tia Dalma's hut. Elizabeth knew right away that she didn't want to serve under the man that had kidnapped her a few years ago.
While she was still thinking about the whole thing, the others where already planning their trip. Apparently Will didn't mind being on the same ship with Barbossa. He didn't even seem to mention that Elizabeth was not exactly what you mean enthusiastic.
Apparently Barbossa had a ship hidden somewhere on the other side of the Island. They where going to Tortuga first to pick up a crew, food and, of course, rum.
"An'if ye to scared to go wit', ye can stay in Tortuga." Said Barbossa, looking at Elizabeth in particular.
Jack was still sitting on the beach of that godforsaken spit of land. Suddenly he stood up and began walking back and forth, wringing his hand nerviously. Was this really the end of Captain Jack Sparrow? Or was there still a way to survive until they found him? It was al dear Elizabeth's fault, she had chained him to the already sinking ship and she had made it impossible to last longer then 3 days on this island. After a couple of hours of walking up and down the beach, not knowing what to do, he was so desperate he started exploring the island once again. He spent the rest of the day lifting pieces of wood and small rocks hoping to find at least a bit of food...
At the same time on another island, a group of natives could be seen on the beach. They were standing around something that looked like a heap of pink and grey flesh, covered in slime.
For an outsider it may seem disgusting, but for them it was a gift from the gods: a lifetime of food, maybe eating the dog was a better idea after all...
