My Lost Star
Past the night sky,
Beyond the moonlight glow,
There stands my lost star,
Waiting for me to find her.
When I do find her,
There is a turn of events.
She is already with another,
Happily having a new life.
When I see this,
I miss her so.
I go through my mistakes,
Wishing it never happened.
Because of me,
She lost trust in me.
Instead in confiding me,
She goes to the help of another.
Our friendship was washed down,
Like water into a drain.
Our love faded,
Like pencil marks erased.
I never expected,
This to happen.
To lose a deep friendship,
And a soulmate.
