Disclaimer: I wish I owned Naruto…Because then…I would have enough money to drown in. Maybe. But I don't, so I don't, and I won't. As in, like, EVER. That is all.

Author's Note: What do you do when infatuated with a fictional character? Pair him up with the next best solution. Tenten even /looks/ like me. Actually, I'm a lot like her…

On a different note, I did a lot of research on Chinese astrology for this (since Tenten and her team seem to have a lot of Chinese themes in it—which I like, I am Chinese) and found some…interesting results!

The years born I used were if they were the ages they were in Naruto I the year published (1999), and unless my math is really that bad…

I also made Tenten a year younger to suit my evil purposes.

Fortune

"Let me do your fortune, please?" asked Tenten, looking up at Neji with large eyes.

The prodigy rolled his eyes. "Whatever," he replied. "If you want to."

The weapons mistress sat down in the grass, pulling out a book. She had obvious planned this. "You are born in the year of the Tiger…" she scanned through the page further. "You aren't like this at all," she commented, showing him the description.

Difficult to resist…aggressive…calm, open-hearted…enthusiastic?

"Let's skip to the next part," she said, flipping to another page. "You are also born under the element of fire. It is associated with the south, aggression, humor, movement, intelligence, passion, the heart, and the circulatory system."

Actually, that's not all that far off, thought Neji. He attacked the keirakukei, the chakra equivalent of the circulatory system. His masterstroke was an attack to the heart. The rest of it wasn't too hard to believe, except the humor part.

"Its governs are the Monkey, Sheep, and Dog," continued Tenten. "Water defeats Fire, and Fire defeats Wood.

"You are also born under Yang. Some things that go under Yang are the sun, daytime, light, warmth, activeness, the summer, south, fire, the left, masculinity, heaven, and odd numbers."

"And you?" asked Neji curiously.

"Ox, Yin, Wood," replied Tenten, turning to the pages on those.

"Wood is associated with the east, the nervous system, the liver, creativity, nurturing, growth, honesty, and anger. Its governs are the Tiger, Hare, and Dragon. Fire defeats Wood; Wood defeats Earth. (?)"

The prodigy smirked. "Looks like I'm dominant over you," he teased.

Tenten stuck her tongue out at him. "The Ox is quiet, not extravagant, and speak little…I think this Zodiac is rigged," she complained.

"And finally, Yin. It represents the moon, nighttime, water, darkness, the cold, rest, the winter, the north, the right, earth, femininity, and the earth.

"It also says that Yin and Yang, although opposites, must co-exist for balance," she read. "They support each other. And a part of Yin is always in Yang, as a part of Yang is always in Yin."

Tenten turned the book around to show Neji a picture of the Taijitu, the Yin-Yang symbol—also used in his Hakke Rokujyuu Yonshou, ironically.

"So? What did you think?" pestered the weapons mistress.

"I think…" Neji pulled Tenten closer to him and for a few blissful moments, their lips met. "…that you have set me up."

The genius got up and left, leaving Tenten behind, still sitting in the grass.

Heehee…I can't believe that worked…
