I sit and cry
My shoulders slumped
Coz he just told me
I'd been dumped
He said it straight
He said it hard
Not knowing that
He broke my heart
The painful feeling
In my chest
He always said
I was the best
But he lied
To me that day
The painful feeling
Won't go away
I sit and nurse
My broken heart
I should have known
Straight from the start
I could never be happy
Never feel great
Always be locked
Outside them gates
So I sit and Cry
