"I hate kids, you know—stupid things, always cryin' and cryin' for reasons that make no sense at all. My wife, she always told me kids don't think like us, that it ain't right for me to think of 'em as having even half a brain. 'Course, she said it nicer, because you know how women are… Hey, you ever think of getting a woman?"
"Go to sleep, Jecht."
"Nah, I'm feelin' too good to sleep. Why, the last time I found stuff like this…"
"Shoopuff. Don't think I forgot."
"Eh, I'll get you hooked on the wonders of alcohol soon enough. This, this is better than any of the lightweight shit they serve back home. You think if my son came 'ere, this place'll toughen 'im up too? Alcohol's tougher; kids hafta be tougher too, don't you think?"
