The harsh words of the Water Guardian had hurt Blunk more than all the rocks and energy blasts in the world ever could. The anger in the huge blue eyes that were extremely rare in Meridian made him feel sad and guilty at the same time. Someone who was normally so light hearted and beautiful should not be so angry, in Blunk's opinion.
But when she had forgiven him and said he was not worthless, Blunk had hoped that maybe, just maybe, she returned his feelings. Though Blunk tried to make his affections for the girl of water known, she ignored him time and time again.
And inevitably, the Guardian of Water eventually fell in love with another. The other was a handsome human from Earth, and all the little Passling could do was watch, and silently weep. It went on like this for the rest of both of their lives, and though he tried to move on, he could never forget the huge blue eyes. It was the untold tale of the one-sided love of the Passling Blunk and one of the all powerful Guardians of the Veil that lingered on in the mind of Oracle for the rest of time. That one small affection could stand out amongst thousands of relationships puzzled the Oracle, and one day, long after the Passling had died and the Guardian had become a member of the Council, he realized what was unique about them. It was that one small being could keep such a large secret for so long that stunned him, and he wished that certain other beings could share that quality. Because then he would have a lot easier job, that was certain.
This makes me feel a bit guilty, because I like Blunk and I hate having him so sad. But it would never work out. I just realized that in a oneshot about Irma I never actually said her name. Weird. Please be nice and review. Every time you don't review, Napolean(Cornelia's cat) gets chased by Mr. Huggles.
