Sora finally caught up with Chip and Dale after a long ways of running and getting lost by him while Donald and Goofy stayed with the Queen incase anything were to happen. "Wow, for little guys, you sure do run fast!" he said smiling then leaning over to try and catch his breath.
"Well, we must start right away on the Gummi ship if you are to leave!" Chip said. Sora looked at him with some bit of shock striking his face.
"You-you mean- You mean it's not ready yet?" Sora panted.
"Well, no it isn't ready yet. You haven't been using it in awhile, so therefore it isn't at a full tank of gas and it needs some small repairs," Dale said.
Sora bent his head down with a sigh, "well- is there anything-anything I can do to help with the repairs?" Chip and dale looked at each other.
"Nope!" they both said looking back at Sora with smiles. Sora looked at them with the slightest feeling that he was being mocked. Well, better find something to do in the meantime. Sora thought. Sora went out of the Gummi landing dock and looked around. Maybe if I can find the study…
Sora spent a while getting lost and then when he finally got to the library the looked at the large amount of books on every corner of the walls. It looks kind of like the library that beast gave Belle, only bigger and more confusing. Sora thought a little overwhelmed with the size of the study. After an hour of scanning through the books to see if anything caught his interest, Sora saw Goofy entering and then walking up to him.
"The Gummi ship is ready, Sora. But the Queen needs to talk to us first."
"Alright, I'll just put this book back and I'll meet you right outside the library. I think you might be better than me at finding where the throne room is!" Sora said with a chuckle received by a big smile and a goofy laugh. Sora placed the book back where he found it and saw Goofy right outside. "Hello, do you know if the heartless and the nobodies are still around or not?"
"Well, when I came to get you and went looking all over the palace for you I didn't run into a single one!"
"Yes, odd isn't it?" Sora said taking a quick moment to thing before he realized the Goofy was already about to turn a corner.
