Faster and Faster

Everyone was surprised when Quicksilver and Northstar started dating, though they could see how it happened. Ever since the two men discovered that Jean-Paul was able to speed up his social interactions with Pietro to let him function at a speed that was more natural and comfortable for him, the two had become close. Even Pietro had been surprised. He hadn't been aware of ever being attracted to a man before, but the relationship had evolved so organically out of that ease of communication that he never questioned it.

His father was furious. His sister was happy for him, but thought he'd lost his mind. Pietro didn't care. He was happier than he could ever remember being. No one could deny the improvement of his disposition, so the X-Men were willing to overlook quite a few things.

Not the least of which were the "Quickies."

It had started as a game between the two of them. How fast could they do it? Before long they were doing it in places they could easily be caught and leaving quickly before anyone had the chance. It was Jean-Paul who first mentioned that they were probably moving to fast for anyone in the mansion to actually see them. The rest had been Pietro's idea. Most had guessed with the occasional blurs were, but sometimes denial isn't a bad state to be in. Besides, none of them wanted to be the one to actually address the issue anyway.

When Logan was returning from a long mission and saw a blur zap across the room in front of him and felt the breeze of stirred air, all he could do was stand there with a low growl reverberating deep in his chest.

"Either someone has left the window open," he sighed to himself "or I just watched eight-point-two nanoseconds of hardcore gay porn against my will."

He closed his eyes. "I want beer."
