Disclaimer: I don't own Halo 2 or any Bungie workers that I might use.

Bungie, a powerful company, a cash-cow, a legacy. In the year 2001, they produced one of the bestselling first person shooters ever made.

In 2004, they released that game's sequel, Halo 2.

Halo 2 was everything that Halo 1 was, but better. The graphics were better, the story was interesting, and it had Xbox Live capabilities! It was truly an Xbox gamer's holy grail.

The hype for Midnight launch was insane, and when the game first came out, people just couldn't put their controllers down. For awhile, everything was great.

But then, he showed up. A young college student with an IQ over three-hundred. He was a genius, as well as a major nerd. He had tried to play Halo 2 fairly, but he never could win a game. His fellow players often ridiculed him, he was probably the worst player that had ever picked up a remote. He had such a hard time scoring a single kill, but yet, he pretended to be god's gift-he was the very definition of a noob.

One day, a gamer with the gamertag 'Teal', joined the player's game. Try as he may, the super nerd could not triumph over Teal. The nerd was trash-talked into submission, as Teal bested him on every term.

After the game, the nerd squawked and whined, he vowed revenge against Teal and the Halo 2 community. From that moment on, the nerd used his intellect for evil. That was when he had fully transitioned into the dark side.

He created the most powerful modchip in the world, and with little care for what everyone else would think, stuck it into his Xbox. From that moment on, he was reborn as the evil, powerful, and nearly unstoppable, King Mod.

Days after, King Mod transformed Bungie's matchmaking servers into a world of darkness. He recruited every player that he could, turning them into an armada of hackers and cheaters, only on a much smaller scale.

Bungie, overwhelmed and tired, completely gave up on Halo 2. Within a few months, Halo 2 was completely under King Mod's control.

Teal, learning of his old rival's exploits, gathered three of his friends and vowed to take back Halo 2 for the legit players. Teal enlisted, Crimson, the voice of reason that could hit a fly in the eye with a Battle Rifle bullet. Sage, the comedic moron who could headshot four enemies in quick succession. And Brown, the man who could bridge host away from any modder team.

Now, the four of them must destroy King Mod and his evil army, but can they succeed?
