Guys I think it's about time I updated the story because it doesn't look like I'm reaching 15 reviews until I do.
Disclaimer: I don't own Halo and I never will.
The Halo 2 Protectors were sitting in the pregame lobby, discussing their last victory over team Country Modderz, and the clan before them Kalifornia pwners.
Halo 2 was actually starting to get it's place back as 6th most played online game, thanks to the 200 modders that King Mod had banned in the last four weeks. (Those were all off screen).
King Mod was getting desperate to get a team that could finally finish his enemies.
The banning of modders continued for weeks on end, until one day, when King Mod hired a new modder clan; this one was special, as they had a deadly weapon that they can use on legits.
So King Mod hired Team Bootacular, and yes, you guessed it: if they could not fairly win, their backup plan was to boot their enemies from the game.
King Mod sent Teal a message. "Play matchmaking right now. I finally got modders worthy of your time," it said.
So, Teal hit 'start game', and they were taken to the waiting list. It didn't take long until Team Bootacular appeared as their opponents, and the map was Midship.
"What? Bootcular? They're just going to fucking boot us!" Crimson yelled.
Their four evil enemies were: Booter, cotar, 1timeperiod, C00tr blood.
As soon as the game started, the blue screen came on.
"Oh no, guys! I think something really gay is going on!" Sage yelled.
When the blue screen ended, everyone on Halo 2 protectors were lagging. They lagged through walls and fell through floors; plus, the other clan was getting free kills off of them.
Just then, Crimson got an idea. "Guys, don't stop firing your weapons!" he yelled.
So, they did keep firing, and they started to see their points total rise.
"Guys, for some reason, if you're crouching, you don't lag as much!" Sage explained.
So, they crouched, and they found that Sage was right.
Booter started to talk with his clan. "It's time to see some fuckers get banned!" he yelled evilly. Just then, the blue screen flashed on and off really quick... when the game came back, they had booted Brown.
"Brown, Brown? Brown! No! Those fuckers lagged him out, so he got banned!" Teal screamed.
Just then, Booter hit the button again, but nothing happened. As Brown's last doings were to make it so that they couldn't stand by or boot anyone else, but still, Halo 2 Protectors were out of business without a bridger.
"We can't cheat anymore, but that's okay, you fucking fagots! We're still going to beat you!" Cotar yelled.
The battle raged on for two minutes, with Bootacular in the lead by five kills. It was now 32-37, and by the way that Bootacular was fighting, it looked like the other members of the Halo 2 Protectors would soon be joining Brown.
1timeperiod was running around the upper ramps with the sword.
The Protectors were hiding in the battery room, trying to think up a plan. The two batteries had already exploded, so it was slightly less dangerous. They were out numbered and out matched.
"Where are these pussies? I've turned this map upside down!" Booter complained.
"Maybe they super jumped out of the map," C00tr Blood suggested.
"On fucking Midship? I don't think so!" Booter yelled.
Just then, 1timeperiod walked in on Halo 2 Protectors. "Guys, I...!" he called, only for his head to immediately blown off by Crimson's shotgun.
The rest of Bootacular saw the red 'X' and the other two cheating idiots weren't far behind him.
Teal picked up the energy sword that 1timeperiod had dropped and ran toward the left with Crimson and Sage at his side. They were now in the moon side deck room.
Suddenly Cotar made himself known, as he ran in and started blasting Crimson with the Plasma Rifle-SMG combo. "Surprise, Halo 2 Failures!" he yelled, as he continued blasting them.
Teal shot Cotar in the head, just when Crimson's shield had reached zero.
"Hey, dumbasses, behind you!" Booter yelled, as he meleed Sage in the back.
Vengeful toward his opponent, Teal turned around and sliced Booter with the sword.
The freshly resurrected members of Bootacular ran from the room and regrouped at the other base. The Halo 2 protectors did the same thing in the base that they were already in.
Halo 2 Protectors, 34, and Bootacular, 38.
It appeared as if Halo 2 Protectors would soon lose their accounts forever. You know the rest, but wait, you don't. You don't all live in a Halo 2 that's ruled by modders... well, actually, you do, but... okay, back to the story.
The failures... uh, I mean heroes, might soon be banned if their bad luck kept up. There was only three minutes left on the clock, and the Halo 2 Protectors would now probably lose.
Then, Teal ran toward the evil base and chopped 1time and Booter in half with his sword.
C00tr blood and cotar backed away and started shooting their Plasma Rifle-SMGs; however, that was the wrong move, as that was where Crimson and Sage came in. They ran behind them and meleed both of the cheaters in the back.
Now, the Protectors had tied for lead. Meanwhile Booter had picked up the Battle Rifle, and the other three had Needlers and Plasma Rifles.
Now that Bootacular had rifle cover, things would really start to heat up for the Halo 2 Protectors. So, again, the Halo 2 Protectors were walking directly into Bootacular's filthy hands.
This was the tie breaker; it would decide who lived and who died.
"Hey, C00tr, look! The idiots are coming back!" 1time yelled from somewhere in the room.
Just then C00tr and Cotar jumped up from the air lift and started shooting needles at the Protectors. With little effort, Teal dashed up at them and sliced them both in half without even landing to dash again.
"Yep, he's our leader, all right!" Crimson said.
"Yeah, you guys could have helped me and shot them, too!" Teal yelled.
"Uh... no need?" Sage said.
"You fucking idiots!" Booter yelled.
"Stop using the damn sword!" Cotar yelled.
"You want us to be fair? Well, then don't cheat!" Sage explained.
"Oh, he doesn't cheat! Never cheated in his life!" 1time said. "You Protector-guys are fagots!"
The game continued without much difficulty for the Halo 2 Protectors. They scored fifty points and had beaten Bootacular, but only one thing was still missing: Brown! He was still banned, and they could do nothing about it.
"Hmm... the only way to bring Brown back is to get Bungie to come back to Halo 2. So maybe, I'll write Bungie a letter. When they hear that there are less modders, they will come back for sure!" Teal explained.
